Crackberry help

My daughters crackberry stopped transmitting voice today.

I dont know if its a phone problem or something she has done.
You get an echo of your voice on its earpiece, but the person you call cant hear you. Pair with a bluetooth head set and it works fine.

Sounds like the phones mic is messed up. You might be able to find a cell phone repair shop.
Do a yellowbook and google search for your area.

Well it could be in the circuit board. I personally would look into the cost of fixing it first. If it seems too high you'll at least have an informed option.
I personally don't like getting pulled into another 1 or 2 yr requirement with my cellular company but you can often get a free phone by doing so. Probably not a Blackberry but a decent phone none the less.
If you're intent on a PDA phone look at the Motorola Moto Q
My wife got one and I have to say that the phone is pretty awsome.
I don't need text, email, internet or document editing on my phone but it's capable of all of that. It also doubles as an MP3 player.

my daughter runs thru 4000 text message per month, she likes the full keyboard.

She can look at either getting it fixed or another phone. I have been with Cingular/AT&T/Southwestern Bell for about 10 years now. Another year or two year contract isn't really tying me down.

Thanks for the advice.

Love my Moto Q! Check ebay, you can usually find a phone for cheaper than you can buy one at your provider store. Just make sure its one compatible with your carrier!

Warranty?

Try pulling the battery out and restarting the phone.

MotoQ is an awesome phone.
I have a Blackjack and am looking at upgrading to either the MotoQ or the Blackjack II.

I cannot even fathom 4,000 txts a month.. over 130 a day.. 8 per awake hour.. one every 7 minutes.

A text every 7 minutes. I think I know why the phone stopped working-- because she threw it!

Id throw mine too if I had a txt in or out every 7 minutes all day long.

Haha

On a side note, I have a t-mobile Wing and the keyboard on this thing is pretty good to use.. pretty large compared to most.

She must have realigned whatever she misaligned the last time she dropped it.
