our welders work in an area. the power supplies rarely get moved so this works fine.
especailly when they are welding the ID of a 500*F part.

we have some designated areas ... but there is a huge variety of products going through and the shop floor plan shifts from day to day.

If I was a welder I would really like this kind of work.

Hey Pistol here's something from over on the AWS site. Just so happens a guy was talking about the same thing, almost, his was 110 degree heat. Anyhow, here's a thing a guy posted up,

vortex cooling can be effective, but its gonna put a load on your air compressor system. May not be noticeable if you have a compressor system that can handle it
