I have the great honor of announcing the betrothal our own beloved wee Scotty to the lovely Ms Megan his sweetheart.

I have had the honor of meeting both of them and I am very happy to hear this terrific news!. Megan is a very lovely and sweet lady, Scotty is truly a lucky man to have found her.

My deepest heartfelt congratulations go out to these two wonderful people, It couldn't happen to a nicer pair of people

No wedding plans yet. No hurry

Heres how it all came about...

Megan and I met each other in the first grade...she refused to play doctor/patient with me. . She moved away and then returned during high school. ;D I saved her parents home from a serious round of destruction when she was having a WILD WILD party. So I was in the good books way back then. We hung out together at the 10 yr high school reunion. I was single then and she was too...but we didn't know. DOH!

Then after having a few down on my luck years I moved back closer to home and started looking in the phone book for a fellow strongman to hook up with and train...well there was her name in the book near his. So I called and a few days later she returned my call, we went out for lunch and thats how it all went. Its been over a yr now and things keep getting better and better.

Like Top said, she truly is a keeper and a great gal.

When people ask us how long we have known each other we say; "36 years."
