Colt Lite 380

Found a Colt Lite 380 for $400, what is one worth. I think a bit more. This is the little pocket 380 with stainless or lighter build.

If the colt 380 is in good shape it is worth the $400l 00 in my opinion. My carry is a Colt 380 mustang plus 2.

Are you set on an auto. You could probably find a stainless Colt snubby for a round $300. Get a .357, then you could shoot .38 special in it if you don't like it so hot. Not as many rounds, but it'll pack more punch. The BANG might be enuff fear factor to make up for fewer rounds.

This is a like new piece, doubt it has had 25 rounds through it, I know the source well. It is also a palm sized pistol, the revolver is too big and too heavy for my purposes. This is roughly the size of my OMC Backup. It has I believe a titainium frame and slide. It sold new for about $400 but they are not in production any more. I had a blued 380 before, this one is much lighter.

Thanks for the info, I was told that but wanted to confirm it. I was told that the price has gone up due to Colt stopping production.

Yep...Lots of speculators on Colts out there...I turn down a lot of buys because some people are much too ambitious...Ben

Actually I am a very simple person. If I ever should speculate, I will as always lose money, a salesman I am not. I want the Colt for what it is and will probably never sell it. I never, well, almost never sell anything. I have an OMC Backup that I have carried for 30 years or so. Replaced half the parts in it over the years, long ago polished it and blended all the rough cuts. The Colt always impressed me, half the weight, much better quality, about the same size, still fits the front pocket. Strictly a piece for protection on the road, easy to conceal, enough punch to be effective.

Speculate.... I still have my '65 Chev SS hubcaps I am almost 64 and still have half of the socket set that I got for Christmas when I was 13.

I sold my 65 ss to my uncle this winter. Didn't Colt go back into production for the public? Should keep prices within reason.
