Colt Express Trucking - Tomball, Texas - Anyone Here??

I came across a nice black dually pulling an empty gooseneck in Tomball, Texas on Friday afternoon. The graphics on the side said "Colt Express Trucking". Was that anyone here??

If so, you're exhaust sounded awesome and I want to ask you a few questions about it.

No, it was a normal bed.

I'm in Spring for the weekend. I was just driving through Tomball on my way to Spring. Actually, we went through Tomball again today going to some place called Oil Ranch. Nothing special to me but the kids enjoyed themself.

Dang, was everybody in Tomball? I was there on Wednesday. Hauled a horse from Bandera to Tomball on my way from Cali to Ga. Back here in Atlanta now for my high school's 20th reunion (actually it would be 21, I graduated in '84 but we didn't do one last year). Nice there in Tomball. I won't be going through on the way back. Takin' the northern route along the 20.

There are quiet a few Dodge diesels running around Tomball. And I say at least half have aftermarket exhausts or straight pipes.
There some really nice looking duallies running around.
The Oil Ranch is a good field trip for the kids.

USMC, where did you pickup the horse in Bandera? I'm heading there this Friday to my deer lease. I love it out there.

This one was REALLY loud, but sounded REALLY good. I just wanted to know if that's what a straight piped 3rd Gen sounded like because I've never heard one. He did have a 6" exhaust tip, but obviously I couldn't see the rest of the system. I'd sure like to know what he did to make it sound like that though.

I have heard several 3rd gen HO's with a straight pipe and it doesn't sound very good. Has a tinny, raspy sound. The 600's have a much better sound with a straight pipe. A nice deep rumble. Don't know if it's the cat or the 3rd injection event causing the better sound.

Hoss, I have seen that dually before also, it does sound pretty awesome! My wife is from Tomball so we are back there quite a bit. I'd say I've seen it three or four times.

Hey MikeyB, have you seen that 2nd gen, red, quadcab, 4x4, dually there in Tomball, he's got gauges and I saw him blow some serious smoke while accelerating out of 4-corners on 2920.

Mikey. I picked the horse up about 5 miles north of town off the 173. Elm Pass Rd. Nice area down there.

Texas Aggie,
I may have seen that truck, but there's a lot of 2nd gen duallies running around this area. The one I do remember is a 2nd gen dually 4x4 that was pulling a GN with a tractor onboard. I swear he could rattle the windows half a mile away.
What part of Tomball is your wife from?

USMC,
If I win the lottery, I'm buying a place out there.
