Yeah, it was a pretty good flick. I was starting to think i chased everybody out of here. Of course, it is some excellent, non typical weather out there right now. Natives are getting restless in Benton Harbor this week. We have been having our patrols assigned to "paper-squads" this week. That means they are assigned an order of deployment and are to have riot gear loaded in their patrol vehicle. Benton Harbor picks up a lot of the Chicago riff-raff. 10 years a go we started having serious problems there. We all but disbanded their police and retrained the officers and have been assisting in patrolling the area ever since. Might be alot of this garbage ocurring everywhere this year with the police and fire lay-offs and people realizing the Obama Bucks promised, just aren't gonna stretch so far.

Heidi- had a moose once wander into an open dog pen. Very interesting... 8' fence so he had to go back through the gate.... How to squeeze 1500# through a 4' opening that it doesn't want to go near......

Blake- gotta love the free stuff. Even if it needs a bit of TLC.

Got a box full of door latches in the mail this afternoon. Perhaps now I can safely open the door again......

hope the pics come out.
Don, book is primo! waiting on tomorrow's procedure to watch the video. they are letting me watch the camera go down my throat. good thing i spent five years watching convict surgeries.....even watched my hubby's eye surgery. something is wrong with me, hehehe....
I never doubted it......... Good luck with the doctor, show the pics to the bear, that'll scare the b'gezzers out of him.

Evening everyone

Happy birthday hairy!

Busy today, the temp-o-meter read almost 80* here this afternoon. Got alot done outside after I finished up fixing my sisters car. Grass will need to be mowed next week, it's growing pretty good now. Got the john deere out, checked it over after I put it away for the winter. Re-installed the battery, washed it, and double checked the fluids...it's ready to mow now!

Evening all.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! Really appreciated.

My mother always told me she was hoping I'd be born on April 1st so she could say she had an April fool, but she just had to settle for a regular fool.

We did a training for a construction company about an hour north of us tonight. I always make it a point to go to that one even tho I'm really not needed because they're a great bunch of guys. Well *someone* apparently mentioned to them that today was my birthday and when the class was over, they came out with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Kind of a nice surprise!

Good luck with all the med stuff Heidi. The heck with the bear pics, post the the pics from the camera tomorrow when you have the procedure done!

Going to be 80 here tomorrow too Matt. I think a session of lounging by the brook with a bottle of Jim Beam is going to be in order!

Should be a good day to lounge around outside! I am thinking of walking to the pond down the road and putting a line in it and see if I catch anything. Might take a brew or two with me.
