Cleaning oil stains off concrete

Brake cleaner works pretty well too. Spray it and do a little scrubbing with a scrubbie pad. Get the flammable kind of brake cleaner in the red cans and not the wimpy, non-flam stuff in the green cans.

Tide with bleach powder a little water and a stiff bristled broom. Works like a charm. Make a paste with a little water and sprinkling the tide over the oil stain. Work it in with the broom. Oil comes up and rinses away.
I tried all of the above. I think they each did a little as it gradually got better. I did add plain concrete, dry. I let it set for a day and then rubbed it in with my foot. I let it set some more then broomed it up and washed it with water. That seemed to be the final cure. I don't think it would have done it by itself however.

Third for TSP. It's the only "true" way to prep masonry for paint. Pressure washing can actually make it worse, brings calcium up to the surface each time you go over it. Not saying that you can't power wash it, just make sure you scrub it afterwards with TSP and a stiff bristle brush, that will take just about anything out of it.
