Wife left me last month after only 6 months of marriage.Thats cool though, thats about $700-$1000 I will save this year. I always went all out for her gifts. I guess I will have to get my mom and dad and sister and her two kids something, and thats about it.

Add me to the recently singled crowd. After 20 years of fighting over where the tree looks best, this year I'm going to skip it altogether. I'm just going to change the work schedule so no one else pulls duty.

This was susposed to be a GOOD thread!!! Man, I'm really sorry about you guy's luck. I mean it, too. I do not know what I'd do without my wife. Well, yeah, I do. I'd be walking around naked and hungry!

Any word yet on the DTR Christmas card?

Amen to that. Very easy to shop for a cowgirl. Mine would rather have something for her horse most of the time.

Yep started shopping already for her, PS, anyone want to borrow her this time of the year??? Keep in mind you have to pay the bills of the stuff you get her, if you do a good job, you can have her through Valentines Day....

OKay Cin, tell me how I did...

Main Gift: (she does not like necklaces so...) I am getting her some Ruby earrings with diamons around that. bout $300 worth.

Next...Perfume, clinique's Happy (Wonder why I bought that, just something bout that name..)

she's a reader, so I got her some lovey dubby books....

she likes the show Reba, so I am gonna buy her the seasons set, all 4 that are available...

Oh, and I am converting her from an Alabama fan, so I got her a bunch of Georgia clothes...

Cin, what did you ask Santa for? Might give us some good ideas . . . . in case the new dishwasher doesn't pass.
