Should I warm up the tomato juice? It's 28* outside I know the lab can wear it off but that weiner dog been ouside and I can hear his teeth rattle, I guess I will get them a heater of some sort for the garage.

Here's what I used on my mastiff that got sprayed at 4:00am and then busted down the front door to get back inside
The most popular home remedy for de-skunking your dog is as follows:
1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide
¼ cup baking soda
1 teaspoon dish detergent (I prefer Dawn)
Wet your smelly boy down and rub the mixture into his coat. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. If you have any of this solution left, discard it immediately because it becomes combustible when stored in a closed container.
WORKED GREAT!!

I will try both, one of'em should work. He can stand alot for a weiner dog. Ppl we got him from said his parents were used to hunt badgers and they were pretty dang good at it....I believed them because we hunt hogs with dogs and this little weiner dog is the first to find them in the wind.
My terrier has been sprayed three times.
She likes to chase cats.
I picked up some deskunk spray at the farm and ranch store. works pretty good, just gotta really soak em down to get to the skin.

It's the citric acid in the juice, temp shouldn't matter. Have heard of using peroxide but haven't had the opportunity to try it, thankfully.
