Chevy Venture Alternator Bracket

Not a fun weekend. The wife's Venture went Tango Uniform Saturday while down in SC. Turns out the alternator bracket broke.

Anyone know where I can get an alternator bracket for a Chevy Venture with a 3.4L SFI????

Being the holiday weekend, most of the places I called were closed. Going to call around to the salvage yards this morning. Don't really want to go to the dealer but that is an option.

Hopefully my Father-in-law has some luck in finding one as he is the one trying to fix it. If he can't fond it, he is going to tow the car up for us.

Gotta love pot metal parts........

Well, found one. From the dealer, but it has to be shipped in.

Called around to about 20 different salvage yards and no one had one. FIL called around down there and got the same results.

Not as bad as I thought it would be, less then $40.00. But now I have to ship it down to him.

I may go out and get a horse, at least when it breaks a leg I can shoot it......
