Rainin' here this AM too. It wasn't supposed to. So much for rebuilding the dam today. Got the pond all pumped down yesterday, and the concrete dam base was all dried out. The key word here is 'was'. Nothing is dry now, so I guess I get to start all over again when/if it ever stops rainin'.

Another pot of is ready, have at it!

Hey Cowboy,

Have you seen the pics from up in Seattle area - - roads, drives falling in the water, houses right on the edge of falling in? Wow, they are actually getting rain. Sounds like most of the country is getting rain today - - we are having a light drizzle all night. We were dry - - we need it.

Chaikwa - - everyone loves you, man. Everyone loves a maid. And the coffee??? Well, sometimes we just need a cup of syrup to get us going. We luv ya, man.

Gotta go vote - - can't sit around here jabbering all day.

Bob

MORNING ALL........................no rain here, heavy fog early this AM, now sunny and suppossed to get near 70*.....
Gettnig the deal finalized with Swampthing to trade some $$ and trucks, looks like this weekend the BOSS may let me move back into the house.( She aint gonna let me in 'till I get my truck fixed or replaced)
I kinda miss her.....she has the remote.....
Glad I moved from along the river, the overflow from Washington state may back up clear to here! Hope Dodgecowboy has his waterwings..

Fighting with a vehicle inspection camera system, It has an array of cameras that inspect the undersides of vehicles, great for spotting oil leaks.....
One camera wont work properly. tests Ok , but when put into the array, fails. ....nuttin a quarter stick of dynamite nad a gallon of gas wont cure........ Dont know how I got stuck with responsibility for the thing anyhows...some full-birds bright idea and toy....

Oh well, weathers gonna be great, got fresh, strong coffee and life is good....

Y'all take care and stay dry!

Ok there it is under the back counter with a nice layer of mud in it. The counter jockey said i need a hazmat license to get some thank goodness i got a hazmat endorsment.

Got the late shift today. At least it's all O.T. Gov. made election day a state holiday to make up for our pay cut a few years ago. Of course, we only get the holiday every even year. Voted at 8:30, got the first coat of paint on the stove before lunch. Need to come up with a Cummins C for the front of it. I'm sure it'll get a dose of diesel now and then. Think a 9 inch pipe will flow better than twin 5 inchers? Coffee's good anyway....

So here is the new dilemma a town up the road from me about half hour there is a river called the little hood river its nearing critical mass and its to the bottom of one of the train bridges and its about to take that bridge out if it does that it will float down river smash in to another bridge then that mess will smash strait down in to the interstate bridge they got roads closed to and from and any were near this could get ugly fast. My little creek ain't started rushing yet but its been pouring down rain for i don't know how long and as of 1300 its still pouring rain like a cow peeing on a flat rock. OH well found the leak in the cab chalk another marker light leak and the air wing on the freight shaker leaking right in on the dash board.

Clousy day in DC this morning
Rain all night long + wet leaves on the streets = Lots of folks this morning testing their car's structural integrety in a collision.

Coffee tastin' mighty good on this cool morning.
Donut delivery truck must be stuck in traffic.

Looks like the (D)s are going to take over the reigns of Congress for awhile.
Now they'll have nobody but themselves to blame for the screwups.
Should be interesting.

Y'all stay safe,

8 hours down and volunteered for another 8,,,, and then the same routine tomorrow so they can't draft me on the last one Friday morning. Oh yeah,,,,, don't I just love shift work? Then it's "Long-Weekend" time and a trip down to NC for a little drag racing get-together with the DTR folks down there.
Ed,
You ought to bring the Beast down to Coastal Plains Dragway on Sunday,,,,, Ya know you're dying to blow the cobwebs out of that thing.

Y'all have a good one!

Yup, but traveling last weekend to the daughter's put me a week behind on my chores.
Found a 17ish acre lot of standing hardwood about ten minutes from the the daughter's place that we're negotiating on.
