It has to be either Western Family or Swiss Miss nothing that dissolves in milk will work.

Well I work a 9.5 hour day today because some one who works the day before is quite proud of being extremely overly lazy

Emporium? Does that mean the made outfit is getting an update? MAde some head-way with the winter beater. I think "somebody" was makeing thier coffee in the radiator. 2 flushes didn't open it up so I put another one in. Maybe keroseen will cut that stuff. I'd like to save the thing for a heat exchanger when I get a barn up. The new wood boiler is waiting for paint, leakk chacks complete. Pex will be here this week, gonna order a circulating pump today.

Still at work for another 6 hours of non-paying supervisor time. Why did I agree to that?

Fresh coffee is on, and since I made it, it's good. Nice and chewy. Come help yourself.

Nothing left but a few sprinkles on the sugary things. Thanks alot.

Nope, no more maid outfits. It's enough of a job keeping the coffee up to the standards that everyone has come to expect here at DTR!

DodgeCowboy, don't go adding water to it. That'll just thin it out. The bitterness is what makes it so exceptional!

I see sherod is startin' to get the hang of makin' it right too! When it starts out chewy, it can only get even better!

Gonna try to pump out our pond today, so we'll see how that goes. If nothin' else, maybe I'll have some spare water for the coffee!

Took me 2 hours to find the dang thread! Them pesky mods and playing with me ....again.

Emporium my backside. Dang Janitor would not know an emporium if it hit him in the forehead. He certainly don't know how to make coffee!

(My favorite coffee is 1/2 chocolate capachino and regular coffee. )

The problem is NOT that I don't know how to make coffee. The problem is that YOU don't know what REAL coffee is supposed to taste like!

Its raining here like a cow peeing on a flat rock and at that rate it would be putting more water in that i would be pumping out! good luck chaikwa

PS i threw in a good sized handfull of yesterdays grounds to make up for my adding of the water to the pot. it should be thick enuff to flat a horse shoe in by now. I put mine on a popcicle stick to take with me so i dont spill running down the road 0500 dodgecowboy out

Yeah, I think that's what makes it so popular... coffee with no-spill convenience!

No rain here and it's supposed to be warmer than normal all week. I need to fix the dam and I can't do it with water against it, hence the need to pump down the pond. The only unknown in this endeavor is that I don't know if the pond is fed by anything other than our well pump. We have to add water to it in the summer to maintain the level we want, but now it's only gone down a foot since August, so if something is feeding it my pump might not keep up.

Scott, just read your post about the guys at the shop building a stove. I hope they can get the spray foam cheap! My buddy Doug, with the band-mill gets odd sized, structural, insulation panels from the Amish and has been slicing them nicely with the band mill to insulate his barn. Even shaves the plywood off smooth. He want's me to come cut some lengths for my pex. We're gonna try running a hot knife down the middle and lay the pex in , then cap it with another thin piece. Should work ok, they use a hot knife on the stuff to run wire in the house they build with it. Also, if they're not pass the point, they need to leak-check the firebox before they install it in the tank. They can inflate an inner tube in the chimney stack and fill the box with water.
