We have Nextel at work, use cingular for my personal phone, and definitly think Cingular is better. We have constant problems with the Nextels, loss of signal, no service issues and we are only 5 miles from teh tower..

 

I use Cingular. Pretty good service, just watch their "national" plan, its not completely national... If your still having problems with reception and your on the road alot, try www.smoothtalker.com

 

I've had Nextel for about 5 years now through work (used to rock that gigantic yellow brick of a phone, lol). Really dont think I could go w/o the Direct Connect feature. Coverage is great by I'm in the DC area. I do think Nextel has took a turn for the worst by being bought by Sprint though. If/when Nextel's IDEN network goes away Id probably give my business to Cingular.

 

They all SUCK. Ive been with nextel on and off for ten years. Coverage stinks from time to time, but I deal with it. It works out well with my work. Ive been screwed more by everyone else when it comes to billing.
