FCC has dierection finding equipment to home in on your location. Basically if there are complaints on you about interfereing with someones TV or whatever the FCC may come knocking. If they find the amplifying equipment or do a power output check then you may very well be up crap creek with no paddle.

 

What about a removable setup??? IE. Want to use your radio in another vehicle.

You can buy a premade powercord that plugs into the cigarette lighter and the power connector on your radio, with a magnet mount antennae will this work or will not having a real ground just mess it all up?
