Caterpillar forklift

Hi all,

I just added another big tool to my home shop-a forklift. I got a caterpillar v60b diesel lift, which is a 6000 lb model. I think it was made somewhere between the late 70's and the mid 80's. It has a perkins diesel in it that seems to run fine, and no brakes. The brakes and engine water pump were recently replaced, but the pedal goes to the floor. I suspect that's something simple, like a leaky master cylinder or rusted line. The steering is loose as hell-the shop I bought it from told me it's the bellcrank underneath the unit. There are no hydraulic leaks, and the forks seem to work fine.

Do any of you know about this particular model? I seem to be having trouble finding out much about it on the internet.
