Good footage.

We have ground squirrels here. Just like Prairie dogs only smaller. The same thing happens to them when hit by a high velocity round. You can here them pop when hit correctly.

We have some Rottwielers (sp?) around the neighborhood I'd like to do that to. We even have some neighbors I wouldn't mind seeing gutted. But what's the purpose of shooting harmless animals out in the wild that you don't eat?

They're not really harmless.
The destroy farmers fields, make nice holes for horses to break their legs falling into, they are basic vermin.

Ah I see. I only grow a few plants and my horse runs on the highway so I don't know these things. Dang dirtbag biker from the city...
I still think it would be more fun to take out some Rotts and film it! They do more damage to neighborhood kids than any hole diggers. Car thief shootin' would be fun to watch too!

Like you haven't already! I won't tell...
Any cat or dog is capable of turning on it's owner or biting a neighborhood kid or our own kids. Off goes their heads when they do. The difference is, when a little ankle biter bites it's usually minor injuries. When a rott or pit bull bites, it can easily be deadly. To say "my dog won't bite" is "assuming he won't bite". Any dog will bite if something sets him off. But if shooting vermin is entertaining enough to film and giggle at, I'd just as soon shoot dogs and car thieves that are also a threat to my daily life. And film it. And giggle while watching it. Like the mpeg of the military helicopter attack and other various mpegs floating around the net.

Might have to pick the movie up for deer camp. Good peripheral entertainment during the card game.

You said it all. I have two Rotts, a Shepard, and a Pit Bull and they are all big babies. Check my photo album to see how mean they are. Chances are, it's not the dog, it's the owner that needs to be sho, er ah, yeah you know. As Forrest would say, that's all Im gonna say bout that.

Exactly. There's really only bad owners. I've had 2 recent experiences with two MONSTEROUS rotts. I mean heavily in the 1xx lb range and heads like a bfa cinderblock. I was on their turf without the owner around. (1 dropping off equipment and another in a junk yard.) They both came up and checked me out. Remained as calm as I could and talked to them in an easy tone. They just came in nice, deliberately, and easy. I had the same problem with both. They wouldn't let me go until they felt I PETTED them enough. I am not one to argue.

Praire dogs are vermin. Plain and simple. Just like the large rats we have up here called deer.
