Hello...Hope yall can help..

I have alluminum wheels on my truck that don't want to come off.(front only) I have tried soaking them with penetrating oil, driving a little with loose lug nuts, and of course hammering/prying...NOTHING is working! Any ideas would be great!

Try driving with the nuts loosened about two or three turns. Don't drive in a straight line but do a few figure 8's in a parking lot with progressively tighter and faster turns. Once the wheels break free then tighten the nuts a little for the drive home to avoid damage to the wheels.

When you say hammering, do you mean taking a sledge to the tires? I had to get the wheels off my Mom's Ford stawag that way once. ;D After you get the @#%&ing things off, make sure you smear a good coat of anti-sieze on the mating surface so this doesn't happen again. Hammering on things feels good, doesn't it?

Re:Can't get my wheels off! help

It happened to me with a set of steel wheels and brake drums. My solution was to raise the tire off the ground and fully deflate the tire. Then I used a long 2x4 against the inside rim of the wheel and wailed on the end of it from the other side of the truck with a 15 lb. sledge. Finally popped loose. Just remember , "The bigger the doubt, the bigger the hammer." .... ;D

Try jacking it up before you try pulling the wheels off....and be sure you loosen the lug nuts.

Well...I got the rim off!! I ended up cracking it up pretty bad though! The 8 pound sledge hammer works great for getting rims off, if you don't mind buying new rims...

Thanks guys!
