So, after getting done with day 1 on the LP install, in between rain bursts, the wife says to me, "Hey baby, remember we were talking about getting me that pistol? Well before we do that, I want you to go ahead and get a shotgun and get back into Dove Hunting. I miss eating Doves smothered in gravy. I'd like to try them grilled. And don't forget we only got fishing licenses the other day so you'll need to make sure you get that too."

 

Gotta love spontaneous conversations like THAT one !! Sounds like a keeper !!

That's great. My wife loves to hunt, fish and shoot too. Of course there ain't much else to do up here but still I think it's great when the women get involved. Good on ya.

Last year, when we got our boat......I took her to our Academy. Got her a pink fishing pole and all the pink lures they had. She's had a blast catching fish. I was amazed as to how well a pink color works on bass. I would have never picked them myself.

 

I tried to get my wife to shoot a pistol. She closed her eyes and turned her head and couldn't pull the trigger.

 

When I told my wife I was taking three days of vacation september 1, she asked me if I had plans or if I was going to sit at home an annoy the poo out of her the whole time. I told her I was going dove hunting, she was happy also.
so how was your dove hunting?

 

Haven't been yet. Between rain storms from hurricane herpe, or whatever they called it, I've been putting the new LP in the truck. I'm gonna be a good husband and wait till we get our house painted before letting some cash go into some guns. I may still go. I got a buddy that goes several times a week and has a couple extra shotguns.

I've heard of that but don't have one of those either. Wholesale Sports just moved in from Canada about 9 miles from here. I get to go to Cabelas once in a while when we go to Billings but that's about 134 miles away.

 

If you not in Nowhere, you can see it from where you are...
