Calling all maintenance managers ....

Does anyone have any insight on using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for industrial applications IE: machine shops, MHE, welding shops etc ... ???

I've used one in the Navy for years, but want something better for this company.

I am looking for advice from people who have either started something from scratch or have actually used them and can give recommendations on software / companies.

Cheers,
PISTOL

get one of your Navy buddies to get you a copy of the PMS manual...M M M .
LOL I hated that system to tear apart something that works great never made sense and usually caused a failure later.

We use a program called Maximo here at the station and a program called Teamtrack to track corrective action.
