Not everything you tow has the lights. Lets say you are pulling construction equipment.

Even if I have something on just a tandem axle trailer that is'nt really all that high or that wide (fits inside the trailer completly) Like when I have a CAT 267 on the trailer (~9088lb) I still like having them.

If people associate the lights with big or heavy they may be less likey to do something stupid.

I thought they were standard on all 3500's....even if you don't have DRW??
