Burning willow tree wood

All those that burn wood for heat. How does this type of wood burn? Is it recommended or just a bad idea. Neighbor asked to move some fallen willow trees. Not sure if I should take it to my place.

Thanks

It'll burn fine. Let it dry out good, it holds a lot of water. It might make a fair amount of ash, not sure.

It will take quite a while to dry but it'll burn.
Cut it now make sure it gets plenty of sun and maybe burn it with some other well cured wood next winter.

Careful, it tends to pop and send embers flying. At least it did when I burned it.
