Bug Deflectors

Anyone remember the universal bug deflectors for big trucks that were made of plastic, (usually red or blue), only about 2 feet long, had slightly curved outter ends and mounted to the top of the hood with 'L' type brackets? I can't seem to find these anymore, only the ones made specifically for each make/model of truck and they cover the whole top of the hood then wrap around and down the sides of the hood towards the fenders.

If anyone knows where I can get the old style I'd greatly appreciate it.

I haven't given up, that's why I'm asking here!

And what's a 'T&W Truck Equipment'? Website? Truck stop? Brothel? Oops!

Red would be great, but I don't really care what color it is. I just want to keep the bugs off the windshield without spending 150 - 200 bucks for one of the wrap around ones. I had one like I'm looking for on my old 82 International and it worked great.

Thanks for the offer, I REALLY appreciate it!

No, I wanna be able to see thru it. Even then, ya gotta be careful with some colors, like blue. Blue will cancel out red stop, tail and turn lights!

Good thought tho!
