Bridgestone has issued a safety recall on there A/T LT-285/75 R16 D Only 1.400 tires are at issue. Call 1-800-465-1904 for info.
From Aug 26 to Dec 31, 04 Program length.
I think the tires were made prior to Jul, 04.

I had 5 Bridgestone LT285/75Rx16 Dueler AT on my 2500 Quad Cab, all purchased at the same time and with 30k miles on them. Tires had 50% tred and the vehicle was unloaded running 60psi front and 50 rear. The right front exploded at 65 mph last week and the left front exploded at 45mph two days ago. Both on good clean roads. The steel belts were pealed off right to the base of the carcass. Truck damage has resulted from both and the experiences were EXTREMELY motivating!! Blowout warning was a soft "thumm, thumm" that sounded loke a small balance weight lost. Tire exploded immediately afterward.
