Doesn't that drive you crazee - - all these Yankee plates in the left lane going 15mph under the speed limit with their hands going pointing out the windows at all the pretty sights.

Now, as for the salt water - - it is good for you - - helps keep away sore throats, kills bugs, supports all those wonderful things that swim around that I like to eat - - good stuff.

What does 'today' have to do with anything?

I'm always grumpy when my day starts too early and ends too late.

And before Cincy says it, yes, my days ALWAYS start early and end late!

Used to. No dang time anymore. The guy that hunts our property here has already taken 2 this year, one a nice 6 pointer. If I could hunt with my loader I'd have had a nice one tonite too. Almost hit one running across the woodlot road on my way back in.

My friend that we were visiting when I saw you last just died from cancer. He has been fighting it for a long time. I was supposed to come up and go with him - - he is/was a fanatic at hunting -- has some great racks in his family room and always a freezer full of good stuff. I will miss him. I have another friend high in Wisconsin that wants me to come up - - he has some property in UP that I guess is loaded. We will have to see if the dates line up OK with a bunch of other stuff that must get done before we head out of here in March.

Hey, take some time and go get a good one - - life is short, my friend. I want to hit the glades some this year - - I was gone last year during season.

I hate to hear that Bob. I wish I could bring him back for you too. Seems like that rotten disease gets almost everyone.

You're right that life is short. Some days I think that's a good thing too! Not really. But sometimes I wonder why He put that disease here, you know?

I could find the time to do some hunting, but honestly, as much as I'd enjoy it, I enjoy what I do everyday too. As much as I complain and grump, I really have a charmed life when I think about it.
