We'll keep them your way tonight. Been fairly quiet here, so far. Just an occasional medical and a couple tussels.

I'm cool with the crazies. They don't bother me. I don't like the spitters...... They become one with the concrete............

They want to spit, put a surgical mask on them. Put a dab of peppermint oil on it, their sinus's will drain for days. Better yet, a drop of CS.

That works but I rarely have one of those handy..... I have plenty of concrete at my disposal and the occasional squirt of bodygard LE-10...... It comes in a MK-9 crowd control pattern as well.

When I was in boot camp, one of the drill sargents caught a guy spitting tobacco. He stuck him in a corner of the drill pad and made him spit (without tobacco and no water) continuous for over an hour. It was hilarious... and scary....

Birds of a feather...

Thanks for the offer Don, but why don't you come down here and cull the herd a bit!

Morning all.

Today is Wednesday, October 21st.

On this day in 1797 - "Old Ironsides," the U.S. Navy frigate Constitution, was launched in Boston's harbor.

1879 - Thomas Edison invented the electric incandescent lamp. It would last 13 1/2 hours before it would burn out.

1917 - The first U.S. soldiers entered combat during World War I near Nancy, France.

1925 - The U.S. Treasury Department announced that it had fined 29,620 people for prohibition (of alcohol) violations.

1927 - Construction began on the George Washington Bridge.

1944 - During World War II, the German city of Aachen was captured by U.S. troops.

1945 - Women in France were allowed to vote for the first time.

1950 - Chinese forces invaded Tibet.

1967 - Thousands of demonstrators marched in Washington, DC, in opposition to the Vietnam War.

That is all.

chaikwa.

Diving the south side of the Caymans in the shutes is great. You start out at about 15', wander down this sandy shute with coral and rock walls on both sides of you, fish everywhere down to about 110' - - then suddenly everything drops off underneath you and you are in 6000' of water. I returned to the shute very quickly. I think living on a nice big sailboat would be neat, but the wife hate sailboats - - she thinks all boats should be level at all times. Doesn't work that way many times even with a motor on the boat.

Wow, Eric - - 26 is WAY too young for that. Reminds us to make sure we have made our ticket for the journey afterwards.

Ya know, Don. Somehow diving off a pier in Lake Michigan just does not have the same appeal as diving the wall off Hawaii. However, using that fishing pole sounds good except that Heidi girl probably has contacts down under there and would skunk us.

Grabbed some ph00 and heading out - - thanks for the history, Scott. Good one today. Ya'll have a gudurn,

Bob

I love the shutes in Cayman. My absolute favorite place to dive. You are correct about the wall dive though. I can remember coming off the wall and looking down to a black oblivion. Scared the heck out of me

Claude, you do understand the difference between high mileage and antique. Eleven years huh? (Sounds more like a garage queen to me.)

Good Morning DTR!
had a nice lazy morning, slept in, just now getting around and moving.. The BOSS fed the stock and took care of all the critters before leaving for work, and didn't wake me! * is kinda scared, wonder what SHE wants....*

Oldest has started her weekly doc visits and it seems she is may have the kid early, so I may be grand-pa sooner than planned... not sure I like the idea of being "grandpa".. too young for that, at least mentally!
Ok, guess its time to go get some pants on and get moving for the day...

B Safe all!!

Chris - - you will love it. Grandkids are God's reward to you for not killing your kids when they were teenagers. We just got another one - - it came exactly 16 years after our last one. About the time I am expecting a great GK, I end up with another granddaughter. Oh well, we will keep her - - she is a doll. We meet her next month. I guess I better get cleaned up purdy and shave my whiskers for that first impression - - don't want to scare the poor thing too much. (and you shut up, chaikwa )

Bob
