two beers is usually what I get on the first trip of the drink cart, I can usually get both down before I go to sleep with a benadryl.
I find it more enjoyable on those short 7 hour international flights to just take a claritin and drink the whole flight.

I did start out a conversation. Realized it wasn't the janitor when he was using his verbal judo on me.

Evening all, Had dinner with the GF and the Future FIL tonight. He cooked the ribs on the grill and they were awesome. Had some good conversations with him tonight. Talked alot about fishing tonight. Gonna try to get a day soon that him and I can go fish a little lake by me. Talked about his other future son in law, he doesn't sound to impressed and happy with the guy, it's a long story. The guy doesn't seem to have his head on his shoulders ever and I can see why the GF's dad is worried about him. Gonna go read for a little and then hit the sack.

Night DTR

Fresh Coffee, Tea, Sweet Tea, and ph00 are ready. Dragon has been walked, is wearing Chaikwas pj's, and tuck in for the night.

 

Woke up early this mornin, goin fishin. Still not finished with the BD exhaust brake install, just need to program the tow loc and clean up the install of the wires. My lap top is vista and it wont work for the programming so Ill borrow my nephews. Mornin all.

Hey, ma. Thanks for your patriotism.

On that note, I have a fellow SSgt in my class that has a purple heart from his actions in Beirut, I have been buddy-ing around with him and did not even know. He looked at me kinda weird when I stuck my hand out and told him "Thank you for your service to your country"... I told him I was serious, and he was very grateful. It's a good feeling to be standing in the presence of a hero.

Mornin' All!

Been real busy around my place the last week or so. Took off half of my last work week to help with my Grandma's funeral arrangements and such so I haven't really even known what day it is for some time now. Put the last family member on a plane this morning so I should be back to normal soon. I head back to work tomorrow.

Had an interview for Sergeant on Tuesday. Felt pretty good about it untill I bombed the last question.... Complete bran fart on a simple policy question Good thing I don't want the job anyway...

Anyway here's a pot of #2. I'm off to an 0630 bible study.

Wow, I think summer is almost here in Florida. Went out at 6 (daylight) this morning to trim my oak trees. Came in at 10 completely soaked. Sure wish we could get some rain though - - need it bad. But, trees look better - - now I won't get stabbed in the eye going to get my mail.

Grabbing some ph00 and going to get some more stuff done. Have a gudurn- - you too Claude. Go catch one for me - - I did pretty good yesterday.

Wow, I need a beer!!! It is true what they say about our trucks.. 100,000 and it starts falling in around itself. 2 months ago I replaced both hub bearings and all the ujoints, plus carrier bearings. Then about 2 weeks ago my crank sensor and ring tone had to be replaced. This week its the AC compressor bearing crashed and shot metal shavings all through my AC I could have bought a used sedan for what its cost me in the last couple of months..


Now currently stomping through the breakroom kicking the donuts and throwing coffee on the dragon

 

I made some good ole #2,Phoo,Tea,and Sweet tea.
I just got done with a pork loin on the grill along with a rack of ribs,ribeyes,brats,and hamburgers.
Cole slaw,potato salad,mac and cheese.
Cheesecake,brownies,strawberry shortcake.
