Good morning to everybody. Looks like our chilly weather is going away and we are starting to go back to more Paradisy weather again.
Not looking forward to next Saturday 'cuz my stepdaughter who is getting married in May has got her mother and I to host her new family for supper. My wife is in a tizzy getting the entire house spic and span. We have a decent sized live ficus growing inside the house near the entrance and yesterday she even hand washed every leaf!

I have been taking a look at the real numbers (not the doctored WH numbers) for the unemployed in the US (scary!) and yesterday my wife and I were talking about how very blessed we are compared to the unemployed that are suffering with families, the earthquake victims in Haiti and others around the world. So for sure, good luck to all of you that were unemployed and are able to find work - any work.

Better watch out (and behave) or you'll get the spray bottle too!

Good afternoon from the middle of the gulf of Mexico. Having a wonderful day out here its about 40 deg. 30 knot winds and 10 ft seas. A good day to stay inside and watch football.

Evening DTR. Took the night off, been getting beat up pretty good at work, so dr. Tim prescribed a night off. Finished up some things around the house, went and visited with both daughters and the grand daughter. Now the wife is out with a bunch of her coworkers for their Christmas party, so you know what that means. Oh yeah, the next Linenkugel is for you!! Not gonna have to many, gotta work the part time tomorrow, so I will keep it to 12 or less.

I know. It is for her part time job. She works at Yankee Candle Co., they can not do their party during the Christmas season so they all get together after. She wanted me to go with her, I said no thanks since I will hear about the entire evening when she gets home. No need to live through it twice.

Good stuff, thanks. You try the creamy dark? Not to be confused with being bitter like guiness, pretty good stuff.

Tim and Don, either of you try the Leinie's 1888 Bock? If you like dark beer like I do then you'll like it. Wish they still made the Northwoods Lager, that was my favorite. I tried leinie light not long ago, guess you can only get it Wisconsin, friend of mine brought a couple cases back with him the last time he went up there.

Yeah, tried most of them. One of my local pubs has the sunset wheat on tap, one has the creamy dark, so I get those the most. The Creamy Dark is my favorite though. It's the closest I've found to a monastary's brew I use to drink in germany, just not as potent. If you're interested...http://www.kreuzbergbier.de/

Kreuzberg Dunkel is what you normally get there, also Hefe-weissen and Pils on tap. Every November they change over for their Weihnachts Bach, which has been rated the number 2 beer in the world. But probably due to the number 1, Lowenbrau, being more well known.
