I loved riding for all those years. But when that last close call happend a few years ago I stopped enjoying it and was spending too much time looking in my mirrors etc. Speaking of which,,,,, last night, we lost two more riders to a distracted kid driving an SUV. http://www.adn.com/2011/07/23/198181...-sterling.html I miss not having a street bike after 38 years of owning one but I feel like I used up all my chances.

Unfortunately there are not enough good parents out there. I have two nieces ages 19 and 21(sister in-laws) who have been trained since birth to be nothing but burdens on society. They stopped visiting us years ago because they couldnt handle our house rules.

My halibut connections are just about over since I dont go to Seldovia anymore. Its about my favorite fish.

Hit it with a shovel first, good and HARD. Then try the nails. It calms them down. REALLY!

Give the cat a bath first. It gets them in the mood.

No, shovel first, then the bath, then the nails if you want a chance of winning

Evening all. In to cool off a bit. Now back out to finish a welding project. Almost warm enough to braze without the torch set. Just set the pieces in the sun.

That's not the sludge people are talking about from lack of maintainence. The real problem is a big buildup of cakey black tar like stuff.

Good job at taking care of it
I've religiously changed every 6 months or 10,000 miles for the last 150K. I guess thats working so far...

the old gasket had three cracks on the bottom side. I dont think im getting enough leakage on the left side to mess with at the moment. Im planning on atleast another 25K, but we will see how it goes. The truck is probably good to another 175K, but a new truck looks so sexy...

A little thin coat of Black or red RTV will take care of that

From: Thanks Don M!
Greetings.
I managed to get an official diagnosis of whats going on with my arm by another specialist.
Partial distal rupture of the right bi-ceps tendon.
The solution is surgery. Its a situation where they have to do the repair the same way as a complete rupture. Otherwise its just going to snap completely anyway.
I tried the physio, ultra sound, massage, accupuncture etc etc over the past several years and it keeps getting worse.

Get it fixed now or endure the discomfort and deal with it when it ruptures completely. Sooner the better.

Good thing I can deal with most everything with either hand.

On the sunnier side of the news...I have all the walls insulated [R-20] and vapor barriered in the garage. Ceiling has the vapor barrier on and will get R-52 blown in on the Sept long wknd.
