Mornin' All!

Busy day yesterday. Took a little road trip to the In-laws down in Palmer. Picked up a little trailer and a snow blower that the FIL didn't want. then turned and burned. 665 miles in 12 hours flat. Most of the trip was in the drizzling rani whith horrible head winds. But the truck ran good and the wheels didn't fall off. (just went through both front and rear axles on Sun/Mon)

Today I'm off to Home Depot for some weatherstripping and such for the house. Winter's comming and heat is expensive.....

Good afternooner. Busy yesterday at work and after work. Set a 16 Cyl block and generator in an engine. After that the boss assigned me to a train crew to help them switch the roundhouse and the boneyard. Ran the turntable alot and did a little uncoupling of cars and dead engines. Wasn't a bad day, kinda fun getting to work with a switching crew. Hung out with the Gf after work yesterday, we went out for some pizza last night. Good day today, worked on one of our overhauls. Picked up a new rear slider latch for the truck after work, mine broke the other day. Stopped in to the local dealer for it, man are they hard up to sell a new truck. I get out of the truck and the salesmen swarm me. The one salesman asked if I'd like to get into something newer and more powerfull than my "old truck" as he put it. I told him only if its for the same payment i have now. He asked what my payment was and when I told him its $0.00 he said he can't do that. I'd rather keep my 24v than buying one of his new 08's anyways. Gonna go organize the tool box, its a wreck right now.

Gummers ain't... nevermind~! Seriously tho, tell her not to worry. I had 3 of my impacted and infected wisdom teeth taken out years ago, back when I was absolutely petrified of dentists. They gave me IV Valium and I didn't care what they removed. No pain afterwards either, just a little tenderness if I bit down on something where they used to be.

Waaaaaait a minute... there ain't room for more than one janitor on this here board!

This "vacation" I'm on is killin' me. I need to go back to work to slow down. Luckily The truck is about as ready for winter as it's gonna get. Now I just need to get the house whipped into shape before the snow flies! Start on that tomorrow.

 

Turned over a new leaf today. Under it I found myself working out in the new weight room at my school. Feels good. Hope it is habit forming.

 

I lit the fire under the morning pot. You'd think we could finally get electricity in the breakroom but nooooo.... Mind the floor, donuts dug under the wire so they're on the loose again.

 

Morning. Thanks for the coffee TRad. I'm running on fumes this morning. Off to work I go.
