Evenin' gang,
Gorgeous day down this way - - never know another little wind storm was nearby. Hope it stays away - - that will be fine with me.
OK, what is there about this I am missing? Is there something in the wind (besides whiz)????
Grabbing a ph00 and watching more football. Nice to have it back on. Great time waster.
Ya'll be good.
Bob

I just had some with dinner... put about half a shot of captain in it, too...
I have the same bracket, but I put mine on the outside of the frame, and I have the back bracket underneath the tank... perfect for me. I really like where I got it mounted.
I jumped for joy when I got that walbro out of there...
Evenin, DTR. Broke off good. After I posted this morning, I went outside, and been out all day with this air dog. Got it right, tho. I was out there so long, I was drunk twice...

Evenin' All!
Gorgeous day out today. Spent most of today out under the truck but the good news is I can cross another line off my "to do before winter list" Got the rear axle seals and breaks done. Only took 4 trips to NAPA. Anyone else have a garage but work in the driveway anyways? Oh well, at least it was a pretty day!
Tomorrow, Front axle U-joints and who knows what else. Gota get that done so I can head back to the FILs to pick up a snow blower and trailer. Probly just turn and burn Got plenty more work to finnish on the house before my vacation is over. I'm on the down hill slide as far as the time off.
Take some to go and I'll put a pot on for later.

Evening. Well....Football is back. Both my college and NFL teams won this weekend. So I'm happy.
Anyway, did what I set out to do today as far as readings for school went. So now I'm just kickin back drinking a beer and watching Lonesome Dove.
Mark,
I work outside too. It's just easier to get around the truck. But I much prefer to work in the shop at work. Having a lift makes things much better.
I'll take some coffee with my beer.
Enjoy the night folks.

LoL!! Wife happened to see the last few posts. She was not real happy about me insinuating that she had “whizzed” outside. Tried to tell her that “people pay good money to go someplace you can whiz outside without getting arrested”. She says that I have too much time on my hands and need to go clean up the yard. She doesn’t scare me and I will tell her off after I get done with the yard.

Well, I haven't been in here lately. Been drinking my own coffee I guess. My early retirement/forced lay-off ended last week when school started up again. A guy could get used to summers off.
Anyway, I am back to earning my keep again educating other peoples teens. Just kidding. They kinda grow on you (like fungus). Opps.
I also started up my own re-college classes . I guess that makes me a "school marm" and a "college boy" I don't know about you jbjarko, but I am sick of classes. After 5 1/2 years of undergrad in the 80s and 90s and now in grad school as an old man, you'd think I was smart enough.
Anyway, glad to catch up on ya'lls lives. The house, the trailer, the AD (whatever that is), the vacation work on the truck, the wizzin', and, especially, the comin' home. Be safe.

I tell you what Trooper. Up until this year, I was sick of em. Not much of a fan of learning what others want me to learn...especially when I dont wanna learn it.
Now I switched my major to History...and I love every minute of it. I look forward to class each week!

OK, OUT OF BED - - HIT THE DECK - - WHERE IS THE MAID? NO BODY MADE COFFEE!!!!!!!!
Oh well, I will take care of it. Coffee, foo foo, hot water all workin'. Put donuts on the counter but don't let that furry thing in the corner get them - - ooopppss, I think that is Scott sleeping over there. No wonder the coffee isn't ready.

Thanks for the coffee Bob. It ain't bad either, considerin' it was made by a 'ph00-er'!
I'd still be asleep in the corner if Mad hadn't come in an' kicked me!
Finished up the new woodsplitter yesterday with a final coat of paint. (pic attached) Now I just gotta find time to actually USE it!
Also finished up the new old chip truck I built for the tree people. (pic also attached) They took it this mornin' for it's maiden run!
chaikwa.

Mornin' all,
Had a GREAT weekend up at my buddies deer lease. Moved his corn feeder to a nice spot on the deer interstate running through the creek and into a field, calibrated my eyeballs to his 270 at a fair pace .... Bambi is not gonna like me this year
... and then wreaked havoc on a honey bee hive in a huge knothole near the corn feeder (Here ... hold my beer ). They didn't really care for that many 9mm & 270 rounds ringin' their bell ... only got stung twice before I outran the swarm ... but his other buddy didn't fair quite so well. Sure was fun watchin' him dance around like a fruitcake . 42 years old and I still ain't got no sense .
Well ... whoever burned the coffee this morning did a fine job. Nothing to complain about ... so I will get moving.
Cheers,
PISTOL

Afternoon.
1615 here. In the library doing some reading and I thought I'd check in.
Not much going on today. Only two classes. One down, one to go...starts in 45 minutes. I'm having to do a scholarly book review for one of my history classes. Kinda of like a book report....only a little bit though. I have to read a scholarly caliber book on a specific historical or military related subject and analyze the authors success in proving his or hers point; Their thesis... How they presented their sources and basis for their thoughts. . If they left out any unanswered questions. Etc. Etc.
Anyhow. I picked a book I had read previously called "The New American Militarism" by Andrew Bacevich. It basically calls out the American people as being obsessed with our military might. Our idea of power is perverting American ideals and destroying our Democracy. This fella is by no means against war, as he is a Vietnam Vet and his son died in Iraq. However, it paints the picture that war is in fact ugly and often times we may or may not use our military persuasion in the right instances. I don't want this to turn political...but if you are at all interested in military policy I suggest you read this book. It is pretty thought provoking.
Late Afternoon/Early Evening coffee is set up. So is tea. So is beer for all of you harder workers that are getting home.
All they have here for coffee is Starbucks. I feel guilty drinking this crap.
Take care,
Jb

It's not so much that it's portable but more that I'm just plain lazy. I wanna sit inside a nice warm cab, listen to the radio and sip my coffee whilst I split my wood!
