Morning all. Where is everybody? This isn't the freaking Navy. Time to get out of bed already. Its almost 0700 on the west coast, so 1000 is no excuse for you people on the right coast.

Oh well, time to work. Another pot of coffee is on for you "late risers". Nice chill in the air after the rainstorm last night. Bout 40 or so out. Niiiiice. Well I'm off to do what I do. Work.

I think the Air Force is in charge this week and they never tee off before 1100 so............ I guess that explains it.

Keep pyling it on ... I can take it!
Water got kind cold sudeenly when I got out of the shower. Didn't think much of it, the on demand installation I have, which is temporary, is usually good for 1 solid shower before it starts to cool off, just seemed a little quick toady. I dry off and shave, come out into the kitchen to water everywhere... hot water. The return line (not pressurized) on a line running to the stairwell for a small, future, heater had fallen and the plug got knocked off. Water was back-siphoning from the sytem all over the house. Most of the floor is tyle and throw rugs, no biggy, eventually got the ling romm carpet end elevated with pepssi bottles. the house gets so dry it,ll by dry when I get home tonight. BUT! The water, in reverse, had dropped lower than my pump supply tube. No water circulating. Pump was ok, but I had to rush water out there 2-4 gallans at a time to refill the tank before the lines froze up. Claude already told you how cold it was... frost line a little deep this year. After an hour and a half, I had circulation. The first few gallons wanted to burn off as fast as I loaded them, I was worried about cracking a weld, but seems ok. Glad I bought the heavy stuff. My line heating the exterior bathroom wall plumbing and well, pit did freeze up. That line is shallow because of a spruce close to the house that I can't compromise the roots to digging. Suppose to warm up this weekend so it should come back soon. SO, I finally get to work and get word there will be a schedule change. UAW is telling the state, us dispatchers can't work extended schedules. We need to be on 8 hour schedules like the rest of the state employees. But, they get weekends off, 8 hours for us means 7 or 8 day work weeks and every third weekend off for everybody to have a fair share of weekends, since we are a 24 hour operation. I'd be happy to go monday through friday though...

Scott, that's chapter 3. Chapter 2 was the last few days dealing with the warranty people. Almost time to cut the power line, put a log across the drivway, get my coon skin hat, buy a mule and change my name to Jack..

Note to self, add Heidi's name to growing list. It was just a couple of neighborhood kids with their bows and arrows but they had adults nearby and were shooting in my direction. Since they didn't hit the target all the time I felt, well, regardless of that, they shouldn't have been launching arrows in anybodies direction, period.

Yep, be the bigger man. Sometimes things aren't what they appear and the devil will take what he can get, if you let him. I think DC did the right thing, take a breath, bounce it off a couple folks and think about it before you act.

Dang Red, man the life boats! Personally, I hate plumbing problems.

Afternoon, morning, ..whatever it is wherever you are.

Just had myself some dinner. Left over spaghettttttti. Yum. And some yogurt, and some other goodies. Now for dessert; Girl Scout Cookies and Copenhagen. Don't worry, there is plenty left of everything for ya'll. Come over and get it.

Four and a half hours left here of work. Lookin forward to being off because, well, it's dead and there isn't much to do. Making for a long day. Gotta talk to my boss about getting a half day next saturday or maybe just getting the whole day off. Going camping with a big group. Excitedddd, I need to get away. Besides, someone has to go and make trouble. Whynot me? There will be plenty of girls that are freezing that I need to warm up

Ah, something to look forward to.

Take care all. Until next time.

Josh
