Evenin All....Just kickin back watchin the race results on the Quest, my money is on Lance Mackey, Go Lance.

 

I figure Lance should take it again this year. He looks a heck of a lot healthier than last year, maybe he's finally getting past that cancer thing.

Funny thing is, he has nothing left to prove, two Quests, then a Quest and the Iditarod in one season. He's the man. Gatt is good, personal friend of mine, very competitive, driven, yet a true sportsman to race against. ( He ice races as well, cars all over the place ) He has done well in the past, but if Lance can keep his act together, hope he wins several more.

Weather is almost too warm here, -3C and windy. From -49C to +6C in less than 36 hours. Minor shock to the system.

Otherwise, work is work, time to relax, little paperwork, and go to bed.

Yea he looks a lot better, he runs his team on a friends trail sometimes. Saw him about a month ago, shook his hand and he had a good strong grip, and was all excited about this years races.

Army son, with his Army wife, and their kidletts are here for a visit. Most everyone just crashed. Prudent student is doing her school class discussion postings. Some have to be on different days.

Wifes foot is hurting and stinging. Not sure why. Wonder if it her diabeties.
Driving her crazy, says it is like a knife in her foot. She has an appointment on Monday to go to a clinic that does diabeties only.

Making the plans to go back to AZ and empty the storage bldg, pull the 5er to Houston, and the cargo trailer. Hope to pull the cargo with a rental truck that will have the storage stuff in it. Sister-iin-law is going with us. This is a good thing. She was a OTR 18 wheel driver for years, has a class A CDL. Will be a big help.

Old dog, what are you doing up so late. Get some sleep. Gone to be fresh to battle the storm later. You sher don't get much of a break between storms. I would guess Wanna be is up late reading all the nice things that were said about her, and how she was missed when she was out having fun.

PIPE DOWN THERE CIN!!!!!!!

Its Sunday..that means holiday routine, folks get to sleep in!

heavy snow falling here, 3 inches on teh ground since 0430 and not expected to stop till noon.... rained all night before the snow, and thats all turning to ice.......I-70 is currently closed due to a jack-knifed rig blocking all westbound lanes, cars in the ditches all over.

ans silly me forgot to put any weight in the truck-bed or get fuel( less than 1/4 tank)...

think I may stay here after my shift ends and sleep until they get teh roads cleared off........
