If you ever come my way I'll take you downtown Boston, it will be self explanatory.

Y'all have a great Friday, and a great weekend.
Hey, last time I was in Boston I drove right in and right back out. Picked up at 730AM. I think it was exit 24 I used off the Mass Pike, right at the end of the (closed at the time) big dig. Got loaded with chinese blankets and stuff by a bunch of Puerto Ricans. 53' trailer couldn't be dropped on the dock without blocking traffic so they loaded me on the side street. The guy stacking could imitate the crosswalk sirens perfectly. It was funny watching all the prissy boys with their little backpacks on and their chests stuck out jump up and spin out in mid-air trying to get out of the street.

Bark - can you make good smoked salmon with fish that has previously been frozen? The couple of times I have tried, the stuff that has already been frozen seems to go mushy on me.

Evening all
Sitting in hotel near KCI Airport waiting on wrecker capable of jumping the truck...fuel gelled and I killed it trying to get it going .. Supposed to be here in the morning then homeward bound

Hvy, drove in Boston once, will never do it again....

We officially got 13.2 inches of snow here yesterday, almost all of it in about 4 hours, they've had a couple roofs collapse, but surprisingly, no major car accidents, tho the police impounded over 500 vehicles that either got stuck or stalled and were abandoned on the highways...$200 a pop, the wreckers made some good money

I'm happy tho, this is badly needed moisture, maybe the drought has broken, we got more snow in the forecast for Sunday

Ok, I'm bored, so off to see what the Waffle House next door has to offer......my expectations aren't high....

I got a beautiful woman waiting on me to get home, rather than an empty house
It's not a major breakdown , but a nuisance delay

I ain't 1200 miles from home, sitting in a barracks wondering if mortars are on the evening menu

Neat thing is I can park the car back outside when I am done and something cleans it all off. I don't have to give it a yearly car wash.
Maybe it's time to change the program a bit AND solve the mystery at the same time. This year, lay the salmon all over you instead of the su-bor-roo. That way you'll get a yearly bath and find out who's been cleaning the car as well.

Mark, I don't envy all that packing. I helped my nephew move his FIL while I was home last week. I think I'll die right here before I move again.

Heidi, you always have soooo much fun.

Evening to everybody.

Well, good on you for being positive. It was a lot further than 1200 miles, and mortars were for dessert

Na, you have the wrong idea of me... I'm a great salesman. Some dude came over the other night to look at one ATV helmet, ended up buying four and the riding shirts I had too. Gave the guy a beer, chatted him and his kids up... I'm a nice guy (when I'm trying to sell you something)

It's the climate and region... we are not fans of the desert southwest. The border gangs a few miles away coupled with the 120 degree weather for four-five months of the year, the dust and super dry climate... may be someone's cup of tea, but not this guy, and for sure not my wife. We're from the south, and miss it terribly. I won't complain about Yuma too much, I've been to 29 palms... THAT place is a CRAP HOLE!

We try to make the best of what we have, you know?

Ah, it's an adventure. You never know how much crap you don't need until you move... I'm getting pretty good at it, too.

Evening again. I sold a little 50 cc quad to one of my buddies... that cheap SOB paid me in a scratch off lottery ticket... It was a 100 dollar winner, but, dang man!

For hot smoking I prefer fresh but all I ever use for the cold smoker is frozen.
It does start off a little softer but after the pellicle forms it firms up and after it dries I can't tell the difference from fresh.
I do the cold smoking during the winter because of the 0 humidity and I can keep it cold while it dries.

This is todays batch. Lots of fresh pepper on it. Another hour with the fan than 24 hours in the smoker.

My wife says thats a good idea but my Mom said that maybe I should just point one of the cameras at it instead.

Yeah, I bet you enjoyed that crap. Weather is great in the winter. Not worth it in the summer.

Well all y'all, time for this little cowpoke to put himself, his little doggie and DW to bed for the night. DW and I have been singing our lungs out for the past 90 mins to good country music. Now, time for head on pillow time. See everyone when the sun makes most of a trip around this big blue marble.

Ever got up in the middle of the night, dropped a deuce, and had a bowl of cereal because you were so hungry you felt like you could eat a big steak dinner by the time you had the fire stoked?

You sure it's the drugs and not really shrews?
