As I mentioned back in the summer, I am actually better in the cold than the heat.

Dinner tonight is going to be a comfort food kind of night. There is a pot roast in the oven, spuds for mashing are ready to get peeled and cut. Veggies are yet to be decided.

The house is warm and smells like roast beef. It may be cold and white outside but all is good in here. Nothing to complain about.

Happy Sunday.
Nah Sean, I don't ever so politely say ANYTHING. There are many people, even on this site who could vouch for that.

Just finished moving oat bundles and stacking them, now maybe cut some firewood, we'll see.

Food will be a pork roast of some description, with potatoes and sundry vegetables. Irish. Meat, potatoes. Full stop. Everything else is just decoration. It may be cool and white outside, but at least it's winter.

Have fun people
Well, lol it is for our lightweight southern folk.

Good Monday morning to everybody.
Lary, thanks for the coffee and grub.

Will you guys up north please keep your chilly weather to yourself and not share. It is freezing here this morning and I may even need to put on a sweater to go with my shorts. Presently waiting for the sun to come up and warm this freezing air.

Just about killed my old lightweight chain saw over the weekend, so when I head across the border next week will buy a new and better one. Scott, should I buy a Stihl? Just took a look at that old chainsaw thread.

Man, I am with you, Stan. Cold out there this morning. Was on the lanai drinking my ph00 and looked up at the thermo - - - mercy -- - it was DOWN to 66. Cold, man. Blue skies, warm sun, cool breeze, orchids are really starting to bloom out there. They must like this cold stuff. LOL Heading to 75 today, 81 tomorrow, 83 on Wednesday - - more like it.

Off and running - - therapy morning. Sure hurts but hopefully helping. Refill ......................

If what I woke up to is coming your way, you better haul over all hatch hoods and gun covers.

Woke up to heavy snow. Forecast is for 3-5". Got 8" so far, and enough wind to stack it up against anything you want. It's a major job to get to the boiler shed and stoke up the fire. I suspect it'll take 3 rail chains on the D350 to break out tomorrow. Tracks to the shed were half filled in by the time I got the fire stoked.

Skinned and quarter the two venison I had hanging last night, as temps here went below freezing overnight and there is no promise of it getting above freezing in the foreseeable future. I put an external temp control on a big chest freezer to keep the meat at 34° till I cut it up and freeze it. It ages a bit in there, too.

Freezer gave up the ghost years ago. Must be a pinhole leak in a condenser tube under the skin somewhere. It'll hold a charge for a month or two during deer season, so I charge it up with propane/isobutane. It takes 4.6 oz. of that mix vs 13 oz. of R12 I run suction side at about 7 lbs. Don't care what the high side is. Works good.

BTW, I like my Harbor Freight vacuum pump for the 2 or 3 refrigeration fixes I do in a year.

How much of that goop ended up on you and your clothes?

Yes, I did hear from him and now need to do some homework. After my second email to Capstone, finally heard back from them too and they want more info. I need another week this week to complete everything on my agenda. H-E-L-P!

It has warmed up here nicely and now at 25c and just a small breeze. It is just about lunch time, so am heading for the kitchen to make a big raw veggie salad. Need some of those veggies out of your garden. Oh-oh, that made me remember that while I was out this morning was supposed to buy a cauliflower. That is not the end of the world, but enough to get me growled at. Sigh. Honestly, I do have a fantastic memory, but it is very short.

Now leaving for McAllen, Harlingen, Edinburg area early on Nov 18.

Hi
After doing the heater core I found this under the dash and I cannot recall where it goes. Any ideas?
Drivers side by center console. Looks like some kind of switch. No engine light or codes.
