hubby has killer headache, thought a workout on my speedbag and body bag would help. hmmmmmmm...maybe I can suggest some world wrestling on the couch...off to find a prize.

What's up?

Took the family out to breakfast, went to harbor freight to get a 90* drill... mmm... man toys. I need to invest in some high dollar drill bits, I'll tell you what.

Worked around the house, did some woman work cleaning, gonna do some more in a few... why, might you ask? Because my wife is so wonderful, I don't mind helping her.

Hope everyone has a great evening.

From personal experience, I wouldn't buy big money bits. Medium or lower cost ones work and last as well as the real expensive ones and I don't feel as bad when they break. And they ALL break!

Ive had cheap bits dull drilling mild steel.
If your drilling steel, get decent bits. if your drilling wood, you can get away with cheap.

Greetings from up here where we have had rain/snow/rain/snow/rain/snow and now rain.
A wee bit icy out there.

Going to watch UFC 126 tonight.

Later DTRonians.

I'm so looking the other way.

I had to drill some stainless a few months ago. My titanium coated bits just sat there. I pulled out some old cheapies I've had around for years and they did fine, until I broke the one I needed. I got a Drill Doctor for Christmas.

My bits have never seen wood. Me and wood don't get along well.

I had one of those and I could never figure out how to work it. Maybe I'm just a moron because everyone else swears by them. I just sharpen by hand on a dressed grinding wheel.

Wood has a heart and is sensitive. It's probably still in shock from seeing what you call a saw garage.

Something tells me this isn't going to end up on a positive note!

I think I met one of your metal working students last week. He measured a notch for the corner of a piece of 3/4" plate and took 5 cuts to get it to fit.
