We don't get that... this kid had it from the begining. He must have been hiding it up his tailpipe for none of the the DI's to have found it. We 'inspect' their footlockers, seabags, pillows... just about anything you can think of from time to time.

What's for lunch? I'm having King Ring...

Mornin all

Heidi have fun and stay warm, hot toddies might be in order.

Hat the recruit was just being a entrepreneur. Have to give him credit for that. Hope he was charging enough so it was worth it. Read your attachments about Scott and Jake. Good stuff like that doesn't usually end up in the papers. Doom and Gloom is the usual for the papers to pick up on. Nice change...

Scott have you got any video of Jake and you doing a presentation, showing off his training.

Woke up today and not one building was missing. All the cats were still here and the same number of horses that I counted last night. Night shift did an awesome job. Thanks Chris and RATTLINRAM, have breakfast and take a nap, you deserve it.

Suppose to warm up on Sunday to +1*C. I'll believe it when I see it. As of right now It's still -20*C, soooo not much faith in it climbing to the +'s.

Have a good one drive safe and have fun.

Not yet, but we DO have a video about him the local NBC station did for us when we first got him. The Today Show has supposedly picked up on him from our local station and they're trying to set something up for next spring or summer. Time will tell.

Here's a link to that video; http://www.escapeinc.4mg.com/jake06-27-2007.wmv

It'll take a few minutes to load as it's a pretty big file. No bad words there either! (If there IS, I wanna know about it!)

Snowin' here again. Joy. Anyone heard from 5verBob? Maybe he'll trade locations with me for a few weeks. Or months.

After the last barage ( a good one, no paddy-cake this time), he might have learned to keep his weather to himself....

Didn't hear from your friend, you gonna be all set? Wouldn't have been a problem from my end.

I guess he doesn't really care if he gets found or not. He promised his aunt he'd try, so he did. Lotta bad feelings in that family. Thanks for doing what you could tho, and he said thank you as well.

Bob's prob'ly basking in the sunshine and doesn't have the time to deal with us 'common-folk'!

Just came in to get a stock list together. Gotta get back to work. Mid-mornin' coffee is ready. The ph00 is still in the pot from earlier this AM, but it's gettin' hard!

You are right, you fuzzy little rascal. I am basking in the sunshine, sweating like a dog cause it is 75 degrees out there. Been buried in getting all my little GetToDo list whittled down along with decorating. The yard is going bananas - - I have flowering plants that have decided it is spring and both are growing shoots 1' long in one week - - can't keep them trimmed. Been doing a bunch of little touch ups all around the house and the lanai. Granted, doing a bunch of the stuff in my bathing suit, but not much in the pool except to cool off. Just about done - - have to give Martha a coat of paint tomorrow (she is our pool godess - - makes sure we are get out safe - - ).

So, grabbed my foo, read what you all have been doing while I was gone and have to go hit it some more. Our pageant performances start tonight so every night has been rehearsal. Man, I thought this time of the year was supposed to be fun - - well, it will be in about two more days.

See ya,

BusyBob

Afternooner all,
Houston, cool and partly cloudy. Got some of the stuff done that I had to do. Hope the plans work out. Wife leaves Sunday morning, flying to Seattle for the arbitration. A long time since she was rear ended on I-5 in 2000.

Wannabe, no daughter and kidletts did not move out. We are living with daughter in her house. Nuff said.

Looks like the water is receding in WA state, Pistol will prolly have to go to work now. He will have a long drive if he is headed for Pullman from west of the Cascades. I have see the salmon swimming on the roads in floods.

Hope all of you have done ok in the storms, snows, rains and whatever. Heidi goes out and play in it and has fun.

Now lets all feel soooo sooooory for 5er Bob. Maybe Chaikwa will come down and help him. That would be a combination.

HAT any more on what they are going to do to your wrist. You were missed, the breakroom went down the dumper. Sludge in the coffee, slime in the ice maching and sprinkles all over the floor.

Nothing showed up in the landing zone today, CIN must be fixing the launcher after it broke or somthing trying to keep up with FRONTY. Is he still home?

TGIF for some, what day is it? for some of us.
Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Don't let the calm lull you into complacency .... that's when the fecal matter strikes the oscillating ventilator .

Hmmmmm ..... severe boredom is setting in. Tired, but can't sleep. Should eat something but not too hungry. What to do, what to do ??

It's nice to know... I missed you guys, too. I tried to talk the navy guys at the hospital into letting me use their computer to log on the DTR, but they were not with it.... Silly sailors.

Here's the scoop... The doc does not know if he has to just shave the tendon, take the splintered pieces off, or actually cut the tendon and reattach it. If he has to do option A, then I'll be in a soft cast for 6 weeks, and then I'll be good when it comes off. If option B, then I'll be in a hard cast for 6 weeks, then rehab for a month or so to get it right.

I can still kill with one hand, I been doing it for 5 months now... This injury really frustrates me, usually I can push through being hurt, but this... no matter how bad I want to do something with that hand, the body just won't support it. As soon as I bend it and put weight on it, it's worthless. I can still strike with it, and do push-ups on my knuckles, as long as it's straight, I'm good.

I guess it's just the department of the navy coming out in me....

Bout to go on the 6 mile hike out to the range... talk to ya'll later. There is some civil unrest going on at the mad house right now, don't know how much I'll be on the computer this weekend.

's ready...
