Ok, I work all night and now I have to clean up this place! The janitor is off the reservation. Coffee is hot and fresh, breakfast buffet is open.
Have a great week and don't forget to let the ones you love know it...

Morning Tim, thanks for cleaning up. I was in earlier but my internet connection was so bad I couldn't even smell this place to know how bad it really was. Looking back on it, that may have been a blessing in disguise.
Cool pic Scott! It's truly a blessing to see that even as a child some kids know that all kids need a role model because not everybody is cut out for the LEO profession.

Anticipation and timing worked out for the worse today.
Dinner was at 4pm...

it was a bit overdone. The breast was 180 when I first checked on it. It was good, just not my best. This is why we do a practice dinner, that way I'll remember to stay on top of it when everyone is here and I can have it done on time instead of so early.

Fronty, wireless remote roasting thermometers have become my best friend. Put the probe into the roast or turkey and program the final temp. The ones I have warn you when you are 10 and 5 degrees away from done. It is kind of hard to mess up when you have a loud electronic device yelling 'Your dinner is ready' until you shut it off.
It is so easy to get distracted when you have 2 or 3 pots on the stove, 2 ovens going as well as keeping everyone's wine glass full. Sometimes we even have something roasting on the BBQ or in the smoker.
BTW - good looking dinner you have going there. On my way, save me some leftovers.....
