Well howdy right back attcha from the East Coast of the free world.

Glad to hear things are "quiet", or as quiet as they can be in the middle of the "Sandbox".

We'll have to see it Scotty will revector from 5erBob's house in Florida to the Middle East and direct a few "SCUD" snowballs your way to cool things off over there.

Stay safe, and use the "Buddy System".
It gives the bad guys someone else to shoot at.

First of all, welcome to the breakroom. Secondly, thank you for serving so the rest of us don't have to. Big sacrifice you guys make and we ALL appreciate it! Thirdly, that's the end of the 'nice'... clean up after yerself here in the breakroom. We call it the 'breakroom' because if I find a mess, I break your fingers!

Had a nice relaxin' Sunday here. Spent the afternoon wanderin' around my woods with a bottle of Jim Beam and Mountain Dew. Great way to waste a Sunday! It was beautiful out there... (I think!).

Evenin' coffee, tea an' ph00 is served.

chaikwa.

Is "Mountain Dew" the name of one of the townies from the trailer park out back?

Think I'm gonna work on a little beam and pepsi myself tonight after the crap they stuck us with today. Tomorrow, after a cup with Jerry, probably hang the rafters for the new fly tying/rod building room, or go fishing.

Glad to see that this mess is finally squared away. First thing this morning, it looked like a bushel basket of coat hangers. Good job admins and chaikwa.
Got called in this afternoon. Hopped on the scooter and crossed the river into a real frog strangler. Been singing "drippidy do da" all afternoon.
Got to get in and de-stink. Welding rod smoke, stale beer, and sweat just can't be covered up.
Y'all be good/careful.

Good Evening. This is a funny place. I was gone for a few months now cant find the coffee pot or the can. Also, its like the winter workers all took off and the summer replacements are a bunch of old grouches who cant make coffee. Oooo, just read what I wrote, sounds like I’m the grouchy one. Went clam digging so am tired of cleaning them.

hows the back of your thigh's?

i spent few hours bent over yesterday. got this deep OOOOOWIIIIEEE in the back of my thighs. made wife help to day, she should be sore tomorrow.

welcome from the sandbox. i hear it ain't all fun.
everyone i know who gets sent "to a safe part....." says "it's kinda not so safe...."

gatorade prolly would have been good for sodium depletion yesterday.
drank few gallons of water, probably,

2 liter of Nehi Peach
half a 2 liter of Diet Mug Root beer (started gagging on that)

then half gallon of chocolate milk (trying to get something sweet down, to cover up the taste of almost up-chucking)

i felt better around midnight.

i have TOTALLY fubar'red this shed. i need a swift kick in the but..

Good evening everyone. Finally able to get online, my girlfriend and I went out to a lake with a friend and some of his family on their pontoon boat. We had a good time, it was warm and sunny. We went to Bass lake in Bass Lake Indiana. Its about 45 min from me. Came back home tonight, put some burgers on the grill and had a few beers. Gonna have a glass or two of some sweet tea then off to bed.

Worked again this weekend. In our wetter than the west coast of the Aleutians semi arid climate. funny, we've had about as much precip in the last 24 hours, as we should have all year. Lucky us.

Otherwise, truck is plaguing me like crotch crickets, only not near so entertaining. First the VP went mid june, then the front turbo seal, now the APPS again. this is getting old.

Enough whining, at least it isn't snowing.... down at this level. It was, about 600' above town last night. anyway, life goes on

Enjoy the week people

Evenin all, looks like a good crowd...

mommadubie, welcome. How's the sandcastle building coming over there? Stay safe...

Josh, as promised...

The wife had the kids pool out, and it was hot as heck, so I took over...

It was a little warm on the 4th...

That was before I started cooking. Notice that I had that thermo in the shade..

Lunch...

I had my flag out on the 4th, did you?

Dinner this evening, had some ribs and such...

And a little something I put together tonight...

I seen that on the side of the road, and went and bought it. Put it up and put a light on it. I love it...

Bout to hit the rack... still on leave, so this ain't too bad.

Thighs are good. Back is bugging me, but now (full of fried clams) im good. Chocolate milk sounds good..need to get some sometime.

I bailed out of CA last week because it got up to 95 in Vacaville. After seeing MommaDubie's post I feel like a pansy.

pind: I always fuel up in Whitehorse but this is the first summer I havent made the trip. Whats a litre selling for? Always get fuel at the gas bar in town so I can use their coupon at the store to get donuts.

madhat Cant say anything but that you know how to live.

Bark,

Fuel here is sitting around $1.55/L right now. Close to $1.80/L up toward dawson, and beyond that to the north... don't even ask.

As far as not making the trip. Its been positively coastal here for weather. I thought I saw the sun the other day, but it was blinding, and I couldn't tell

Hey all. Bunch of cranky-****** around here. I've been off the last couple of days. Off-line and off-kilter. Don't know what's wrong with me. been off since the afternoon of the 4th. Heck of a way to celebrate our freedom. Anyway, I stayed off because I felt cranky. Looks like I would have fit right in. Hehehe.

Anyway, feelin' a little better now. May be back on regular-like.

Need to go update the ol' ramcharger blog.
