Thats funny I retired after 22 years and I have not seen pressure, " in the real world," like I did in the military.

Yawn ... ditto . The simple act of coming to work on-time, staying the whole day while taking care of what they are paying you to do seems to far exceed the standard out here in "the real world".

No wonder we are losing our butts to the folks overseas .... Boggles the mind, eh ??

Cheers,

Talking

That is why I chuckle here....... Many here state that this place is stressful, but it the most relaxed environment i have ever been in!!! My Manager is a former Marine, and super!!!! I get to deal in Big Cummins units for trucks and get paid to do so................... After being an Engineering Leading Chief on San Antonio, this is a cake walk............ Yeah Whipt, PI was a true eye opener

Wink all teens should have to do 2 years service of branch choice

agree! that's why 'Army proud' is the most listed! I mean, I rarely state that I am proud to work (retired) for New York State...can anyone say oxymoron?

Heck, with all the rules and gear, my son grew up with the values and work principles...didn't need boot camp when living with me. LOL

I havent even been out a year yet and I miss it already. The "real world" isnt as much fun as shooting guns and blowing stuff up.
