Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that lately there are quite a few first time posters resurrecting old threads with questions like "Any updates?" They seldom post again. Ask them any questions and they never reply. In their profiles they do not show any details of where they live or give any clue if they even drive a truck. Occasionally there may be a semi-serious technical question, but they never follow up with a reply to help offered. Some sort of troll? Are they just trying to up their post count?

 

There will always be trolls, people with nothing better to do than be an annoyance. But, to give the benefit of the doubt, some newcomers want to learn more about a particular problem or someone's build before asking a stupid to us question and getting trashed. Yes, that happens here, it has happened to me. Others, and I am guilty of this is that life gets in the way, and I can't always get back to a post or reply. Or abandon it because it was taken over or no one replied for a long time.
