black dont worry I will take my time and do it right I dont mess around and do Half Butt work I like to do my research and do stuff right the first time.

like the saying goes....if theres time to do a job over theres time to do it right the first time!

I would say the number one & two tips are make sure to get the metal clean before bondo or paint, and keep the bondo thin. Nice paint jobs start before the paint is ever sprayed. I have had really good luck with BBQ/stove black paint on motorcycle headers. It should work well for stacks too.

I painted a VW Bug a while back... actually, I prepped the body and farmed out the painting to one of those local spray shops. I supplied the paint (Flatz Navy blue, kind of a satin dark blue and looked great. Looked like velour paint) and they shot it for $150. I brought them the stripped shell and all they did was the spray. Prep, prep, and more prep. The only defects on the thing were the bits I compromised on.
