Biloxi/Gulfport Miss info
Looks like I may have a chance to go back to Biloxi. I spent 10 years in Biloxi, ending in 1995. Kinda hope it goes through, I need a big change.
Anybody from that area that can answer some questions about housing and such since the hurricane?

Nope, they're Gone With the Wind(and waves)...
My teenage daughter and I toured through there last month, and there are a gazillion construction workers living down there in LA, MS and AL. From what I could see, most had to bring their housing with them as the remaining citizens of Gulfport, etc. are living in trailers or their still-damaged houses with blue-tarps for roofs... Truly humbling...
Seeing how badly those folks got hammered and how slow the recovery is going, it makes me angry whenever I hear "poor, poor New Orleans" from the stupid news media...
If you lived down there for ~10yrs, maybe you possibly know someone still living in that greater area that could give you the real lowdown on housing, both permanent and temporary.
