Big Bang

Ok so i hope this dosnt start a big argument. I got into it with my buddy about the big bang theory pretty heated actualy. But hes a gear head as well so i told him that if i were to take his 11sec mustang apart and throw it into a 40 yard dumpster and then throw about 100 pounds of dynomite in there and blow it up after a few million times of doing this we would look insde and find a flawless perfectly running and driving 11 sec car. So he luaphed in my face and i said exactly so he said oh no its totaly difrent and i said no your rite the earth is much more complicated than your 11. sec 5.0 He still thiks this crazyness happend.

Question is what can i tell this guy ?
Was that a bad exampl ?

PLEASE EXUSE MY SPELLING HAHA

had a discussion with a friend of mine at my gym who works in the science field, has a phd, and knows as much about physics as anyone i know, and he said for the big bang theory to have happened, the laws of physics had to be temporarily suspended. the only problem with this, is that no one has ever witnessed this happen in recorded history! it could have happened, but it takes a lot of faith to believe in this once in a lifetime occurance!

Uhh wouldnt it take alot of "faith " to belive in GOD?

I think no matter what you/we/I THINK happened, we are all probably wrong.

Oh and I am not religious at all. The simple fact is if there is a theory out there there will be those who believe in it.

i never mentioned God in my post, did i? it didn't sound like the OP intended this to be a creation vs. evoluton (big bang theory) argument, but funny how quickly you turned it into one.

my point was not to make it aa creation vs. evoluton thing. My point was that for every theory there will be those that believ in it and since there is NO 100% way of proving or disproving them all it is goin to be is a topic to argue/debate about with no end.

Am I religious. NO do I believe in something YES. I believe that somehow we ended up here and that if I dont get up and work my *** off everyday the bank will take my house & truck. Aside from that I dont really know or care much. I put more into Family than religion.
