Best Truck

Im just talking truck. No engine or tranny.

I think ford has the better truck. Better looks, heavier enginered, and more room. If i had the money id pick up an 03 f350 and put a cummins and 6sp in it.

Dodge. Niether of the other two have been built to take the abuse that a Cummins puts out. The powerpulses of our engines create a grear deal more stress then either of the two V-8s.

Of course Dodge is the best truck, you know that,

Ferd and Maxipad are like , won`t even "pepsi" challenge
with Cummins

I have a thing for the older "first gen" era dodges, I have 7 trucks ranging from '78-'93, and they are definitly some of the toughest trucks out there.

As much as i hate to say it, if i could get a super duty with a cummins or a cat and a 6 spd, i'd be first one in line. I can't stand the look of the newest bodied dodges, but i think the new super duties look great, just would never buy anything with a powerstroke in it

Come on now, I'm really suprised more guys can't be honest!

Ford has one sweet looking and riding truck. They get nicer and nicer every change they make in the full size models.

You can lie to us, but for heavens sake, don't lie to yourselves!!

Jeep.

My Mom-Mom had an old 70's Hornet with a 3 spd. on the tree, really cool car and brave woman to operate it!

I think GM has a better truck than all of them. Quiet, comfortable, ride nice, drive nice, lots of buttons and fun gadgets. I love taking mom's dmax out for a spin when I go home.

fords and chevy's are WAY over priced. Yes they are both nice vehicles in their restective ways, but there are too many crappy electronic gadgets on the chevy and the fords seats may as well be boards(this is on the half tons as I haven't set in a new superduty) besides the fact that I can't sit in the back seat of a ford because I can't get my feet in and out of the door. I don't see why they cant put just two more inches of clearance between the seat bottom and the door pillar.

ive said it several times, the best truck possible is a 99-02 superduty 4x4 w/ a cummins and allison. i was rased on chevy, started liking in '94 w/ the new "big rig" style and absolutely fell in love w/ the newer super duty. even though daddy taught me to hate fords they are still the best.

Why do Superduties look like they have a 2 inch lowering kit on their rear suspensions. We had a 2000 F-350 DRW and put some real good weight on it and the mud flaps would drag! Never had that problem with our 98 Dodge DRW CTD, or our 99 Dodge DRW V-10, or our 03 Dodge DRW CTD. Don't know about our 06 yet(haven't hooked up yet). Not a fluke either because our 95 and 97 Powerstrokes would sag too. Heck, our 99 Chevy DRW with 7.4L would stand tall too. I say you can't beat a DODGE!

I live in L.A. and L.A. has some of the nicest trucks in the country. That said, I'd have to say that without a doubt that the nicest trucks are Dodges, 100%. I'm not biased, I bought my CTD because of the motor, but beyond a doubt the Dodges look the best, enough said.....

I worked for Ford and still get a big discount on Ford products and I can get one way cheaper than a Dodge but found out over long haul they cost me a lot more . The repair bills on the Fords really added up for me and when I traded my last one in for a Cummins I found the dependability was way better . I did test drive a 6.0 before I bought my last 5.9 but my little voice was yelling so loud that I still have trouble hearing out of my one ear . I like the body style better on the Dodge and did not see a great difference in the interior look either . The Ford seats were more comfortable to sit in and were the only plus for me . Put a Cummins in Ford I would still lean towards the Dodge the dependability has just been great and for me it is worth the extra cost . When I drove Fords I always had an extra one laying around to drive well getting the other one fixed . Chevy stopped making trucks and cars in the 70's and it just took people this long to figure it out .
