Re:Best truck

To me I think Ford has the better truck. Like size, interior, comfort, outside noise stuff like that but I dont like the Powerstroke as I like the CTD.

Re:Best truck

Working for an auto supplier that supplies to all three and seeing how they do things Ford would be the last choice. With some of the stupid stuff they do its amazing that they can mass produce anything. Both of the others have their share of problems as well compared to some of the non US automakers.

Re:Best truck

Gotta go with Ford....but not enough difference between Ford and Dodge to make me go with the PSD. Now...if Ford had a Cummins....

Re:Best truck

Was almost tempted to say Ford, but if Dodge would ever make a true 4 door again, there would be no choice at all.

Re:Best truck

I can only base my opinion on the quality the manufacturers have traditionally produced. Traditionally the fit, finish, and durabilaty of the ford has been excellent. If I were to compare a '93 ford with my dodge I think the ford body would have "worn" better. The drive train on the ford would be a diffrent story... Bushings on the twin I beam, no turbo, glow plugs...
My dodge has been VERY low maintaince. Just a lot of squeaks, rattles, and loose screws (No, not in my head...)
Things change... Only after time has passed will we be able to tell if/when dodge quality has surpassed ford quality. I certainly don't think the gap is as wide as it used to be...

Re:Best truck

Can't offer an opinion on this one - all I have had since 1984 is Dodge trucks and International Scouts (Anything Less is Just a Car).

Gawd that makes me sound like an old fart - Hey Top, you got another rockin' chair I can pull up beside you?

Re:Best truck

the 99+ fords just feel more like a truck than a dodge. gm's feel like cars though so they aren't even near the same category my ideal truck would be a ford with a cummins
