The best CD ever for a road-trip to Texas:

Into the Void by Black Sabbath...

Highway to Hell by AC/DC...

On a Plain by Nirvana...

We Gotta Get Outta This Place by The Animals...

Bat Outta Hell by Meat Loaf...

Goin' to California by Led Zeppelin...

Not a Second Time by The Beatles...

Wink Whew! See the Lights of Dallas, but not get there till three hours later

Heh, I like what is on board so far- yeah some of the Aggie college songs can stay on campus LOL

GOD BLESSED TEXAS (peppy little dance tune)

(Highway to Hell WAS funny, Begle)
Red Sovine - old trucker who spoke of the heart of a cowboy, steel of a man
Johnnie Cash had a song or two for texas
Chris Le roux (spelling?) rodeo type singer

and fer sure- a state that is a Nation! would like to see less metroplex though (got lost in a doggone grocery store) everything IS bigger in Texas!
brick houses or condos though; no Northern type architecture...

San Antonio is gorgeous- so glad your brothers fought for it!
Texas folk are just amazing hosts and a handshake still means an honest deal.
I truly believe that TEXAS sets the truck 'fashion' for the nation, heheheh
