My wife just told me to go watch it. It almost brought a tear to my eye.

No truer words have been spoken.

It is on Youtube.

I didn't even know who Paul Harvey was...But the good internet search I found who the man was...

He recorded the Farmer' Speech back in 1978...Learn something new every day..

Man...do I remember pitching those darn square bales when I was growing
up..

Could start a real war here..What would happen if all the farmers went on strike...Who would survive the best...

The farmer commercial was the best hands down. I like and respected the Clydesdale commercial, thought it represented that culture well. With that being said, nobody eats without a farmer, horse nor man, no matter what.

There my vote lies.

I guess so...Just a sore spot when people who never grow up on a farm, cut down farm people...Nothing against people who grow up in the city...

But keep a open mind...Work on a farm...That's work and pride..

Our farm was both grain and cattle...Work was 12 months out of the year,7 days a week..It was life...Not whining about it...But that is farm life..

If it wasn't harvest...You where pulling calves at 5 am in the morning...

I sure miss those days now...

Almost?

Wish I could count the sick calves I've saved, and forget the ones I lost.

Found a new set of twins in the pasture a couple years ago, one was stillborn, the cow stood there while I checked it, the bellared at me while I walked away, as there was nothing I could do, but she didn't seem to understand that.

Yeah, I like my critters more than I like most people.

Finally saw it. I had also heard it years ago and am glad Dodge used it in the way that they did.
