I like Hicktown alot. The music I listen to the most is the sound of the engine and the scream of those twins. When Headstrong come on for me I have an unressistable urge to do some big smokey donuts.

I listen to any thing on the Prime Country Station or the Octane Station. If cds are a must then its anything country from the mid 80s down to the mid 50s

And how 'bout Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Conway Twitty, and of course Dave Dudley with "Six Days on the Road"

Yeah, they work too. Add George Jones to the list.

I like to listen to RUSH while on the road. Throw in some Priest, Maiden, Scorps and Sabbath. Maybe a little NoDoubt and Greenday for variety.

The best thing to listen to on a long haul is Steve Earls Greatest hits, Mainly Guitar Town, and Copperhead Road. Seether works pretty good when turned up, Linkin Park is a problem when your empty and going over gravel.(A problem for the gravel anyway.) The new CCR (Cross Canadian Ragweed, the old is Creedance Clearwater Revival) is a must when going down the road, put on the new "Alabama" and "Lighthouse Keeper" and hold on.

Depends on my mood. I can't stick with one genre for very long before I get bored. I've got almost 20 gigs of mp3's in my truck and on a 6 hour trip I'll go through almost all 20 before I can finally find something I like. And even then I turn it down just low enough to make out the words but not drown out the turbo or stacks and then I just sorta zone out and drive. Of course the cruise is set because the last thing I need is another 90 in a 70 ticket.
