Supposed to have some heavy snows today, I doubt it. Chinook winds last night really warmed things up.

Took mama in to the GP Bad cough all night 2 nights in a row. Looks like maybe another week of this. Heart is doing all right considering the circumstances. He prescribed a narcotic cough medicine to help her through the night.

Grabbin' a cuppa and back to work...

Saturday is the Brides Christmas get-together. Kinda thought early on about a bonfire. Looks like with the people, I may need the A/C!

Wx guesser on tv was talking about snow flurries net week, but I'll believe it when I see it.

First half of the week is about over with. If you haven't broke something, you can lean towards counting this week as a win!

Good morning from Paradise. Oh wait, it's almost evening. Oh well, better late than never. It's been a gorgeous day down here.

Spent all day installing gate openers on a large dual swing gate. Man, what a labour extensive job this is! It's going to take me days to finish this up.

With you on that one - - took me forever to put in a single powered gate out at the ranch. Not fun.

Hey, it's lovely here too, Stan. We were 86 today with 65 at night. But, our first cold spell will hit this weekend. Saturday will have a high of 63 - - brrr.

Need to go take a tum - - tum tum is upset from this stock market going up and down. OUCH. Heading in to watch the debate - - y'all be good.

This job is taking me longer than it should because I need to make everything vandal proof. In other words things like the photo cells, warning lights etc all need to be enclosed in steel mesh so that rocks and sticks cannot easily break them. I have to fab every one of these items myself. At the same time need to make them removable for maintenance. The control panel, batteries etc all need to be located in a secure room and cannot be installed next to the gate. This means that ditches need to be dug and all wires go underground.
Lots of fun. Maybe not.
