Well as the title says I became self employed. I bought a 2003 Int Eagle 9200i
daycab with a C-12 cat and 10spd fuller trans. I will be pulling a bulk feed trailer for a small company nearby. Kinda funny to me is the bulk feed I'll be hauling is made by the company I left. Just thought I'd share my good news with y'all.

Good for you....most people would rather be unhappy in a job they don't like...you’ve taken a chance to make yourself happy or just better! If it doesn't work out, just look for something else! There's plenty of work for people WILLING to work, so my hat’s off to you!!!

I went to school to be a heavy diesel mechanic so a lot of the light to medium repairs I can do myself. Thanks for your support guys

Come on Chad! I got yelled at the other day by a friend of mine. She wakes up at 7am, goes to the gym and at the office by 10 and out by 5 to 6. I told her she was a slacker and had bankers hours. She replied and said we needed to get me to that point and I said "someday". She called me (as all of this was from texting until the call) and started YELLING AT ME! I was like wt heck? She said, "someday" is not a day and how many times have you said "someday" and NEVER done it? I was like many times. I guess owning 3 companies and still working for the man until the 3 kick off (almost there) to be completely self supportive I can't say someday anymore. SO JUST DO IT CHAD! You can git r dun!

I used to be an owner/operator and since you have knowledge in fixin em that will be HUGE! I did all my own repairs unless that darn kitty between the frame rails needed more that I could provide. Just doing the repairs alone will save you a grip of money. Be smart, save for the future (when truckin is slow) or have another haul lined up for those times. You can do it and pat yourself on the back. Not many people have the danglin twins to attempt to go on their own.
